Printers Playhouse opened its doors in June 2015 as a brand new theatre, music venue and workshop space in central Eastbourne. Offering a wide artistic programme of productions, workshops, actor training and music, this Eastbourne Community Arts Hub offers a safe space for local artists and musicians to share, collaborate, learn and develop new skills.

Printers Playhouse has a fantastic programme of live music and theatre, run from both the acoustic stage 'Downstairs at the Printers', and also from the Theatre space on the First Floor.

Workshops and Training
The Printers Playhouse team and a network of professional theatre practitioners are on hand to deliver workshops and training in acting, singing and the arts.
Whether you have any experience or not, there is something to suit everyone, and all ages.

Through a programme of weekly workshops and drop-in sessions the Printers Playhouse team will introduce you to a world where anything is possible. Including workshops across the arts from acting, to writing, improv, voice, physical theatre, music and crafts - we will be increasing our workshop offering over the coming months to ensure there really is something for everyone.
Are you, or someone you know, aged 6 to 18 and looking for an opportunity to get involved in theatre and performance, to learn new skills or develop existing ones? If so, then Printers Pintsized and the Printers Youth Theatre are the perfect solution. Within weekly workshops the youth theatre work on new scripts, existing work, and even devise their own pieces - not to be missed!
